Company Description:

Are you ready to kick-start your career in the dynamic field of accountancy? Our client, a well-established and progressive accountancy firm are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise software packages such as Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel), CCH Central, and more to produce correspondence, invoices, documents, and reports.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems, including scanning and uploading documents using CCH Central software.
  • Set up new clients on the practise management database and perform necessary checks in accordance with company procedures.
  • Generate and edit correspondence and documents for emailing or posting.
  • Manage billing preparation and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Operate office equipment and coordinate information flow internally.
  • Answer and transfer calls, screen inquiries, and handle reception duties when required.
  • Assist with additional tasks to ensure the smooth running of the practise and provide superior client support.

Key Skills, Abilities, and Personal Attributes:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in an administrative position with knowledge of administrative procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience using CCH Central software.
  • Familiarity with online document management systems.
