Admin Assistant

Temporary Contract (at least 3 months duration)

We are looking for an Admin Assistant to join a fantastic design company based in Putney! You’ll support a team of in-house Project Managers by managing the administration for multiple projects, providing secretarial support and diary management for Project Managers and coordinating site set-up. This is a temporary position supporting the team for a duration of at least 3 monthsand paying up to £16 per hour plus holiday pay for the right candidate. Apply Today!

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced administrator with PA or Secretarial experience, who may have worked in the estate agency, property, design or construction industries, and who is now looking for a hands-on role working with one of London’s best design businesses. As the Admin Assistant, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day coordination of multiple projects, keeping things running smoothly under tight and changing deadlines.
  • Type minutes, reports, and correspondence with a keen eye for detail, and help maintain high standards across all team outputs.
  • Act as a link between internal teams (Pre-Contracts, Services, Design, and Project Management) and external contacts including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Set up and maintain clear, well-organised project files — both digital and hard copy — in line with company procedures.
  • Organise practical arrangements for new site setups, including preparing paperwork, ordering equipment, and handling logistics like Wi-Fi and printing.
  • Track site-related purchases, support order reconciliation with Finance, scan invoices, and keep records up to date.
  • Provide admin support across teams, from preparing manuals and maintaining templates to booking meetings and managing calendars.

As the Admin Assistant, you should have:

  • Prior experience in a similar administrative or sales support position, ideally within the construction industry
  • Experience working with document control software.
  • Excellent communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

This position is Monday to Friday with some flexibility on starting and finishing timesand offers a competitive pay rate of up to £16 per hour plus holiday pay.
