I am recruiting for a client based here in the City of London.

They are looking for a proactive , resourceful, as well as competent Administrator to join their existing team.

The ideal applicant must be an all rounder as well as a multi tasker, someone who can turn their hand to anything. Your main role will be to support the Administrative team as well as the wider organisation.

The client has said that the ideal applicant would have MS office exposure in Word, Power point as well as Excel.

The most important attributes specified by the client are;

Role Purpose:To provide comprehensive administrative support for all departmental activities, ensuring high quality and compliance with branch and bank regulations.

Key Responsibilities:Responsible for:

  • Writing and updating:
    • Relevant policies, procedures, desk procedures, and forms
    • Presentations and communications for branch executives
    • Internal communications
    • Proposals and documents for facilities and administrative purchases
  • Supporting facilities activities, including:
    • Fixed asset management – registering and reporting on fixed assets
    • Covering daily facilities activities such as coffee machines and meeting room preparation
    • Tracking insurances and supporting annual renewals
  • Assisting with various administrative activities, including:
    • Switchboard operations
    • Corporate events
    • Branding and corporate gifts
    • Travel and expense management
    • Calendar management for branch executives
  • Supporting the Business Continuity Plan Coordinator and Operational Resilience Committee secretary in committee and reporting activities.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate (Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable)

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, such as PowerPoint and Excel

Desirable:

  • 1-2 years of experience in banking or customer service
  • Understanding of banking operations and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken)
