Business Assistant EMEA Consumer Retail

Location: Canary Wharf, London Duration: 3-month rolling contract Rate: £210.00 per day

We are seeking a skilled and confident Business Assistant to join our dynamic Consumer Retail team in the EMEA region. This is a fast-paced, temporary role within a supportive team of assistants, based in our London office in Canary Wharf. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing essential support to 1 Senior Managing Director, 2 Executive Directors, 1 Vice President, and other junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Diary Management: Coordinate and manage complex diaries, ensuring all meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements are scheduled and optimised for efficiency.
  • Travel Coordination: Handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, ground transport, and managing travel itineraries.
  • Meeting Coordination: Arrange and facilitate both in-person and virtual meetings, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective communication.
  • Expense Management: Process and manage expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursement.
  • Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative duties as required, including document preparation, handling confidential information, and liaising with other departments.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Business Assistant or Team Banking role, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting senior executives and managing complex schedules and travel arrangements.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and confident demeanour, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools for managing diaries, travel, and expenses.
