Are you a highly skilled, flexible and dynamic Business Support Officer seeking to work for a reputable organisation? Adecco Housing is seeking an experienced BSO on a temporary basis to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support, resulting in positive outcomes for residents, supply chain and other parties.

Responsibilities include daily oversight to ensure top-tier customer care, encompassing reception duties and the effective administration of processes to support optimal performance.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver a customer-oriented service and be accountable for performing a variety of administrative tasks related to the role.
  2. Process routine transaction payments, invoices, and orders, ensuring they receive the necessary approvals. Serve as the initial point of contact, handling challenging inquiries from the public and escalating complex issues to appropriate staff promptly.
  3. Execute specific project tasks as directed by the manager.
  4. Coordinate with merchants or subcontractors to keep all financial records current.
  5. Address requests for information, correspondence, and emails within set deadlines.
  6. Manage public inquiries in person, over the phone, or in writing.
  7. Participate in regular team meetings and staff briefings.
  8. Perform scanning, file maintenance, and photocopying.
  9. Update both computerised and manual records.
  10. Take minutes and coordinate meetings.
  11. Offer general typing, clerical, and administrative support to colleagues.
  12. Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by your Line Manager.
  13. Provide coverage for colleagues during absences such as holidays, sickness, or emergencies.
  14. Contribute effectively to the team, supporting all officers as needed.

Experience:

  • Maintaining positive relationships at all levels while ensuring confidentiality.
