Business Support Officer

Salary: Up to £21 per hour

Our Community Response Team, located within Adult Services, is an exciting and dynamic place to work. We are focused on providing the best possible service to Hammersmith and Fulham residents who require support with their activities of daily living. To support this vital work, we are seeking a focused and hard-working Business Support Officer to oversee and enable the team’s administrative functions.

About the Role:

As a Business Support Officer, you will provide vital administrative and financial support to teams within the directorate. This includes the allocation, monitoring, and reporting of correspondence and performance across the service. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the team, enabling them to deliver outstanding care to our community.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Community Response Team.
  • Managing and monitoring correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Supporting performance monitoring and reporting, contributing to service improvement.
  • Assisting with financial administration, including budget tracking and processing invoices.
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and other stakeholders.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a business support or administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in local government or social care settings is desirable.
