This is an entry-level role within the Client Services Department, providing key operational and administrative support across a range of functions. The client is a fast-growing investment management firm handling over £5 billion in assets for more than 30,000 investors. Their client base includes financial advisers, wealth managers, HNW individuals, nominees, and banks, all of whom receive high-touch, efficient service from the Client Services team.

Description

The Client Operations Assistant's responsibilities include:

  • Data Management: Inputting and maintaining accurate data within internal systems.
  • Reporting: Assisting in the creation and timely distribution of client reports.
  • Client Onboarding and Trade Input: Processing applications and entering trades into the system.
  • Transaction Handling: Supporting dealing points, processing payments, and cash settlements.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Managing inbound payments and aiding bank reconciliation activities.
  • Client Enquiries: Handling queries via email and phone, using a case management system.
  • Project Support: Participating in ad-hoc projects and contributing to operational improvements.

Profile

The ideal Client Operations Assistant candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude. While previous financial services experience is not essential, the ability to learn quickly, support teammates, and take ownership of tasks is critical.
