Are you an experienced Exams Officer looking for an exciting opportunity in a well-organised and high-achieving secondary school? Reeson Education are recruiting a highly efficient and detail-oriented candidate who will be able to take some responsibility for the school examinations.

Exams Officer - Key Responsibilities:

As an Exams Officer, you will oversee all aspects of the school's exam administration, including:

  • Exam Coordination - Organising and managing all internal and external exams, including GCSEs and A-Levels.
  • Timetable Management - Creating and distributing accurate exam timetables while minimising disruption to learning.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring all exams adhere to JCQ and awarding body regulations.
  • Invigilation Management - Recruiting, training, and managing a team of exam invigilators.
  • Student Support - Ensuring students with access arrangements receive the appropriate provisions.
  • Data & Results Processing - Managing exam data, liaising with exam boards, and overseeing the secure distribution of results.
  • Liaison & Communication - Acting as the key point of contact for exam-related queries from students, staff, parents, and external bodies.
  • Resource Management - Ordering, securing, and distributing exam papers and materials in line with exam board guidelines.

Exams Officer - About You - you should:

  • Have previous experience as an Exams Officer in a London-based secondary school (preferred).
  • You should be highly organised, meticulous, and able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
  • Have a strong understanding of exam regulations and procedures.
  • Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be proficient in using exam management systems and data handling.
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and integrity.
