The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) are looking to recruit an Executive PA to provide professional and comprehensive business and secretariat support to the Director of Property Services, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and occasionally the Senior Management Team (SMT).

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the diary and inbox of the Director of Property Services, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication.
  • Provide general business support across teams to enhance the operation of the department.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Property Services Department, handling inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Business Support Manager to streamline the daily workflow and create efficient systems.
  • Lead the administration of office tasks and communications, including the collation of the weekly hotlist and drafting the Monday Memo.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, key contacts, public sectors, and suppliers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the ability to adapt to internal IT systems.
  • Experience working with senior-level stakeholders and managing complex diaries.
  • Knowledge of the property sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in a similar administrative role within a highly regulated environment, such as government or public sector.
  • Minute taking experience is essential.
