Family Legal PA

A top tier, established UK Law firm is hiring a Legal PA to support their busy Family law team, offering a generous hybrid pattern and a friendly, collaborative workplace culture as well as stunning offices. This role will be on an initial 12-month FTC.

  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office / 3 remote)
  • Up to £44,000 dependent on experience, with a great range of core and flexi benefits
  • Standard working hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm

Family Legal PA Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective and proactive diary management with minimal supervision
  • Conducting basic research, including researching new clients / contacts and preparing bios before meetings
  • Typing and formatting using the Firm’s templates and using contact data from InterAction
  • Preparing bills (including bill narratives)
  • Preparing AML documentation, obtaining relevant documentation, carrying out conflict searches and correctly identifying the work type
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and a strong understanding of Fee Earners’ matters to be able to provide the best level support
  • Assisting with training sessions for the team and providing knowledge induction for new team PAs

Family Legal PA Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous PA experience within a law firm with, ideally within a Family team although this is not essential
  • Excellent written, communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Can-do collaborative attitude
