Fellowship Engagement CoordinatorWe are seeking an individual with who is personable, well organised and with excellent attention to detail - This role is a temp role for 4 weeks £16 an hour depending on experience- Hybrid – based in the west endWho you will be working for?Our Client is a not for profit and well known innovative organisation in the City of London.What will you be doing?The purpose of this role is to provide temporary coordinator capacity for the Fellowship Engagement team. The role chiefly provides communications, administrative and operational support, as well as contributing to content and approach. The role includes providing support to Area Managers and other Fellowship colleagues.Your key duties will also include:ENGAGEMENT SUPPORT

  • Primarily a coordinator type role to pick up tasks (both proactively and reactively) related to organising events and volunteers in the Central area and Scotland.
  • Events would include Fellowship Engagement events, but also Fellows Festival related matters and RSA Connect.
  • Liaising with event organisers, suppliers, speakers etc to facilitate events and fellowship activities.
  • Drafting communications to promote events, in particular copy for emails, websites, circle and social media.
  • Providing information and status reports on events to internal stakeholders including attending internal meetings and briefings.
  • Responding to queries and questions from Fellows. Escalating as necessary.
  • A positive, can-do attitude who is comfortable working with volunteers.
OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
  • Develop and improve administrative processes and systems working with other coordinators.
  • Liaise with finance team with regards to timely payments and generation of invoices. Maintain budget tracking tools.
About you:
  • Educated to A-level or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to plan, multi-task, prioritise and work on own initiative whilst being flexible to changes and competing demands.
  • Knowledge of methods for engaging audiences for impact
  • Experience of working in a membership organisation or the charitable sector - desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
