Job Overview:We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Admin/Finance Officer to join Camden Council's team, based at 5 Pancras Square. This is a temporary position to cover a vacancy due to recruitment challenges. The role is office-based for the first 6-8 weeks, with potential for agile working after that period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all collections related to clients, carers, and staff.
  • Maintain strong attendance and be a dependable member of the team.
  • Provide high-quality business and administrative support with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Support with a variety of business administrative functions to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Manage and triage multiple inboxes effectively.
  • Coordinate accommodation, transport bookings, and purchase order requests for residents.
  • Organise meetings and quality assurance panels, including taking and distributing accurate minutes.
  • Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of databases and systems, including MOSAIC, while adhering to data protection regulations.

Working Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 10th March 2025
  • End Date: 6th June 2025
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Strong administrative experience with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in office software and systems.
  • Experience with managing emails, databases, and schedules.
  • Knowledge of data protection laws and compliance is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
