An exciting architectural studio in London is on the lookout for an organized and enthusiastic General Administrator to join their vibrant team. If you enjoy being the go-to person in a creative environment and are ready to tackle a variety of responsibilities, this role could be perfect for you! You’ll provide essential administrative support across three departments—Property & Workplace, Digital Systems, and Studio Experience—helping to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the office runs like a well-oiled machine, keeping supplies stocked and equipment in working order.
  • Assist with diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments for team members.
  • Handle purchase orders and expense claims, ensuring accurate processing and tracking.
  • Welcome visitors warmly and be the friendly voice on the phone, making everyone feel at home.
  • Take meeting minutes, track action items, and help prepare reports and presentations.
  • Organize and maintain filing and archiving systems for key documents.
  • Research suppliers and assist in procuring products or services needed for the smooth operation of the departments.
  • Support ad-hoc administrative tasks as required, lending a hand wherever needed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in administration or office support roles.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills and a positive, approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with expense management and budgeting is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of IT troubleshooting would be helpful.
