We are proud to be partnering with an incredible charity dedicated to providing life-saving emergency relief and long-term medical care to some of the world’s most vulnerable and excluded communities. Together, we are seeking a Governance & Association Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, temporary position (37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday) with an expected duration of approximately two months. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days per week onsite at their Aldgate office.As the Governance & Association Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team’s activities and commitments across governance and association functions.
- Governance (approximately 2/3 of the role):
- Coordinate the annual governance cycle.
- Arrange international travel for Board members.
- Liaise with Board members regarding the signing of legal documentation.
- Provide support to internal users on governance systems, such as SharePoint and the Board Management Platform.
- Manage the UK Directors’ diary.
- Association Engagement (approximately 1/3 of the role):
- Assist in the planning and delivery of bespoke events, such as association debates and socials.
- Support communications and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain the association’s website and database, working closely with the Association Engagement Coordinator.To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proficiency in using IT equipment and the Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Yammer.
