An exciting opportunity to join a leading and prestigious trading company based in the city of London as their new Operations Associate!

Due to business demands, the team are now looking to hire immediately.

Role: Operations Associate

Role length: 12-months FTC

Working model: Hybrid, 3 days in the office.

This role will join a small but friendly Sustainability & Physical Markets team. It will assist in all administrative duties related to the operation of the brand list, including compliance, sanctions checking, and project work.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS SOME EXPERIENCE WITHIN PHYSICAL MARKETS FOR THIS ROLE.

Duties:

  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the brand function.
  • Administer new applications.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the brand requirements, including ISOs, responsible sourcing and metallurgy and shape specifications
  • Supporting addressing any complaints.
  • Data analysis and sanction checking.
  • Review warranting requests received.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the team's digital files and records on multiple internal databases
  • Conduct the relevant cross-checking of data against multiple documents.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience working in a finance/trading organisation.
  • Experience working in physical markets is essential.
  • Experience working in a compliance administration, operations or senior administrator role is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High levels of data management.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
