Part-time Family law Legal PA needed for high-profile Partner!

Salary - £45,300 (FTE) or £27,180

Days/Hours - 3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday (or can be spread over 4 days half days and one full day)

Location - St Paul's

Hybrid - 60/40

Working for a highly successful, long-established UK Law firm, a part-time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family law Legal Secretary/PA to join their renowned Family department.

You will provide secretarial and administrative support to two very well-respected fee earners who cover the full range of family issues, advising on complex, high-value and high-profile family matters. Between them, they have represented a number of public figures including pop stars, actors and actresses, members of parliament, sportspeople, TV personalities and entrepreneurs!

For an idea of the duties, please see below:

  • Managing fee earners' diaries on a daily basis, including organising and scheduling meetings, appointments, arranging lunches etc.
  • Typing of correspondence as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring that client files are maintained and up to date at all times, including the opening and closing of client matters, and filing of relevant documentation.
  • Obtaining billing guides and preparing draft bills (with fee earner input).
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of new clients' records.
  • Managing queries from clients and others to assist the fee earners.
  • Producing Court bundles.
  • Organising file reviews for the department and working with Risk & Compliance to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Supporting the wider team by assisting in any overflow of outstanding secretarial work.

Family/Matrimonial law experience is essential for this role, in particular knowledge of HMCTS and the court portal.
