If so, Signature Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Postgraduate Programme Coordinator to join a Central London University. This is a full-time, permanent position, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring at least three days in the office.

As a Postgraduate Programme Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of postgraduate programmes, acting as the first point of contact for students and faculty. You will liaise with internal departments, maintain student records, coordinate assessments, and support programme events such as open days and graduation. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Postgraduate Programme Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support for the development and delivery of programmes, working closely with the Director of Postgraduate Programmes and wider academic team.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for students, staff, and external stakeholders, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinating programme logistics, including booking classrooms, scheduling visiting lecturers, and maintaining academic timetables.
  • Managing the Canvas Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), ensuring students have access to learning materials, assessment information, and key announcements.
  • Assisting with student admissions and recruitment processes, maintaining accurate student records, and coordinating assessment and grading procedures.
  • Supporting financial administration, including processing invoices, monitoring budgets, and approving timesheets for visiting lecturers.
  • Organising programme-related events, including open days, study visits, exhibitions, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Providing administrative support for student welfare processes, including mitigating circumstances requests and feedback coordination.
  • Maintaining compliance with the College’s validation and quality assurance policies, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Supporting senior colleagues and wider Institute teams with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Postgraduate Programme Coordinator Key Skills:

  • Previous administrative experience in Higher Education, ideally in programme administration or student support.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with students, faculty, and external partners.
