Programme Administrator - Temporary

3 Month Contract

36.5 hour week (hybrid working)

Start date: 24/03/2025 ideally

Salary: £17.40 - £20 per hour

A leading education institute are hiring a Programme Administrator to provide Admin support to the Development Manager & Programme Manager on programme and student administration

  • Respond to queries from prospective students
  • Co-ordinate start of session arrangements; registration of new students, collate induction packs, timetables and other necessary documentation.
  • Work with the Programme Manager and academic staff to set up induction week sessions.
  • Support the Programme Manager in departmental timetable preparation for all seven taught programmes, including the managing of module room bookings and with data entry for on-going timetable arrangements throughout term time.
  • Allocate students to modules and personal tutorials etc. in accordance with submitted forms and upload information on Portico.
  • Process and co-ordinate teaching materials, such as module outlines, logging coursework/essay submissions and arranging for marking, necessitating liaison with teaching staff and students
  • Update and brief academic/teaching staff on student application
  • Maintain student reports from Programme Leaders
  • Create and maintain student files - electronic and paper.

The role holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external so a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required
