About Us:Our client is an independent, not-for-profit initiative dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth in the region. Working in a highly professional corporate environment, we are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Secretary / Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team of five.

What We're Looking For:Do you have a "can-do" attitude and thrive in a varied work environment? If you are highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with others, this role might be perfect for you! You will assist the Chief HR Officer (CHRO) and support our three corporate entities, gaining invaluable insight into the inner workings of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:Secretarial Duties:

  • Schedule Board meetings, avoiding clashes with events and public holidays.
  • Liaise with external hosts and confirm catering arrangements.
  • Follow up with Board members regarding expenses and per Diem payments.
  • Ensure timely communication and confirmation of filings with managing agents.

Administrative Duties:

  • Collaborate with the admin team on invoicing systems (Dune) and client inquiries.
  • Participate in weekly internal meetings to address client issues and work allocations.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality in correspondence with clients.

IT Support:

  • Assist the CHRO with hardware and software issues, ensuring meeting room tech is operational.
  • Show a willingness to learn and develop IT problem-solving skills.

Accounting Support:

  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare documentation for the UK accountant monthly.
  • Assist in collating documents for expenses and intercompany transfers.

What You Bring:

  • Significant experience in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and grow.
