If so, Signature Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for you to join our client, at a prestigious London university, as a Programme Coordinator. This is a temporary, full-time position starting in January for six weeks with the possibility to extend. After a two-week training period on campus, the role is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with three days on campus and two from home during term time and two days on campus and three from home in the holiday period.

As a Programme Coordinator, you will lead administrative responsibility for day-to-day matters relating to current and prospective students on Post Graduate programmes. You will act as a point of contact for students and staff, and you will use your experience in student support to manage high volumes of queries, triage and signpost as necessary. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to a busy, vibrant academic environment.

Programme Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the department’s inboxes, assisting with email triage and responding promptly to student and staff queries
  • Resolving student and academic inquiries providing excellent customer service and escalating as necessary
  • Contributing to the student journey in particular relating to Assessments. To include updating records, processing confidential assessment and examinations information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Liaising with academic staff and ensuring timely updating of courses, information, reading lists and virtual learning environments
  • Assisting with the preparation and execution of events throughout the academic year and servicing Committee Meetings when required
  • Working flexibly as part of a team, supporting colleagues in times of high-volume activity with other ad hoc administrative duties

Programme Coordinator Key Skills:

  • Experience in administration and within a higher education setting desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service and confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • An enthusiastic, proactive and positive team member with excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Office - Excel for data entry. In addition, the ability to work on new systems in particular an understanding of Student Records Systems and Virtual Learning Environments
