Our local authority client based in East London are urgently seeking an experienced Project Support Officer.

*£26.06 an hour Umbrella*

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Provide responsive, high quality, professional and timely project support to the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) transformation project team
  • Maintain relevant systems and frameworks for collecting, evaluating and interpreting data to inform the delivery of the project.
  • Arrange and service meetings including compiling agendas, distribution of papers, taking minutes and actioning and monitoring follow-up actions.
  • Undertake project work and research on behalf of the project sponsors and project leads on a variety of issues, involving liaison with colleagues, Members, and outside organisations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Deliver a comprehensive range of high-quality project support to the TEC Transformation project team including arranging meetings, dealing with routine correspondence and telephone contact, co-ordinating event logistics, and supporting meetings.
  2. Liaise with council officers and external stakeholders to ensure that systems, processes and outputs are in accordance with the needs of the project.
  3. Make the best use of appropriate ICT systems to facilitate the effective execution of the project.
  4. Assist with the compilation, co-ordination, collation and distribution of reports and other management and meeting documentation in support of the project team.
  5. Assist with creating forms, templates and flowcharts and writing up of policies and procedure documents relating to the project.
  6. Provide administrative support to the project team, including compiling reports, typing, maintenance of appointments diaries, reception and enquiry service for telephone and personal callers, arranging, servicing and minuting meetings, developing and maintain filing systems.
  7. Liaise effectively with enquiries from outside agencies and Members and council staff, as and when required
  8. Assist in the progression and resolution of correspondence, complaints and member enquiries to ensure the project team is fully supported
  9. Receive, deal with or direct personal callers, dealing with highly sensitive and confidential matters in a professional manner.
  10. Deal with clients and service users, stakeholders and staff in a professional manner, signposting queries and questions to the right teams and individuals where role holder is unable to resolve the query directly.
