Overview:

IDEX Consulting are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Support professional to join our team in a newly created role. This role supports our Commercial Director manage their clients, candidates, colleagues and diary. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in an incredibly interesting and fast paced professional services environment that will give you exposure to C-Suite level contacts and a wide range of different people and cultures.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The role will prepare you to take on a wider, larger role as the business continues to scale in the coming five years.

Key Responsibilities:

Diary management

  • Working closely with the Commercial Director to coordinate their diary and activity for the week, month and year ahead
  • Prioritising appointments and tasks, taking on responsibility for actions where ever possible to free the CD's time to focus on sales and development activity

Client follow up, social media & marketing

  • Collate and record meeting notes, sharing with relevant colleagues, clients and candidates
  • Promote key roles, opportunities and thought leadership piece for the Client Development function on a weekly basis
  • Manage (and promote) the social media profile for the Commercial Director and Client Development function

Resourcing & client delivery

  • Assist in identifying and sourcing potential candidates for general insurance roles
  • Diarise candidates in to the diary of the relevant IDEX team member
  • Maintain and update the candidate database
  • Screen resumes and applications to match qualifications with job requirements

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the Client Director and the recruiting team
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate logistics
  • Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meetings

Client and Candidate Interaction:

  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates and clients, ensuring a positive experience
  • Communicate with clients to gather job requirements and provide updates on candidate searches
  • Handle inquiries and provide timely responses to candidates and clients

Marketing and Social Media:

  • Assist with creating and posting job advertisements on various platforms
  • Manage the company's social media accounts, posting relevant content to attract potential candidates
  • Help with marketing initiatives and campaigns to enhance the company's presence in the industry
