Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Business Support Officer to provide efficient and effective clerical and administrative support to the Wandsworth Safeguarding Partnership. This role involves servicing partnership meetings, including minute-taking, and working with a broad range of contacts involved in safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain processes for Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews.
  • Produce and disseminate information about the partnership.
  • Develop and maintain the partnership's website.
  • Support safeguarding training programs and events.
  • Process and monitor financial records.
  • Support multi-agency audit processes and Joint Targeted Area Inspections.

Generic Duties

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of services.
  • Comply with Codes of Practice, data protection, and health and safety policies.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Understand the councils' duties for safeguarding children, young people, and adults.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain data integrity and accurately record information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Experience:

  • Working in a busy social care environment.
  • Providing administrative support to a diverse group.
  • Maintaining websites and organizing events.

Qualifications:

  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
  • Willingness for professional development and training.
