If so, Signature Recruitment is currently seeking a Student Experience Officer to join our client, a prestigious London university. This is a temporary, full-time position starting in early January for two months - with the potential to extend. It is offered with a hybrid working structure of a minimum of two days on campus and three days from home.

As a Student Experience Officer, you will become an integral part of the Student Experience Team. In this role, you will be supporting the team with administrative duties along with the delivery of a programme of student engagement, cohort-building activities, and student partnership initiatives. Your responsibilities will include inbox management, answering queries and signposting when necessary, arranging and attending meetings, drafting Minutes and ensuring actions are followed.

Your personable, positive and proactive connection with students will directly influence the quality of their experience at the university.

Student Experience Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Student Experience Coordinator and wider team with the operational delivery of key projects
  • Leading busy inbox management assisting with student, staff and academic queries and signposting as necessary
  • Organising and arranging logistics of meeting including room bookings
  • Attending and supporting Student Meetings and providing detailed analysis of student feedback
  • Representing the team at internal and external meetings, minute taking as required and ensuring actions are noted and followed
  • Working flexibly as part of a team assisting colleagues as required and undertaking other ad hoc administrative duties including some data management

Student Experience Officer Key Skills:

  • Strong administrative experience in an educational setting and an understanding of the student lifecycle in a student facing role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a 'people person’ who can engage effectively with students, colleagues and academics
  • Personable, proactive and flexible with innovative thinking and the ability work calmly in a busy environment with good time management
  • Highly proficient in IT skills. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management platforms and software, such as Canva and Trello
