What you'll be doing as a Temporary Immigration Administrator:

  • Provide a warm and supportive welcome to clients seeking immigration support ??
  • Conduct regular telephone triage service to prioritise clients in need of immediate assistance ??
  • Be the first point of contact for key stakeholders, including partner organisations, Home Office, and the courts ??
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, liaising with colleagues when necessary ??
  • Organise appointments with the Home Office on behalf of clients ??
  • Schedule client appointments at our centre �?
  • Offer legal administrative support to the dedicated caseworkers within the team ??
  • Collaborate with the lead caseworker to manage client's cases, including communication and follow-up bookings ??
  • Efficiently manage case files, ensuring proper closure and archiving ??

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong commitment to the mission, values, and behaviours of the organisation, exemplifying them in your work �???
  • Previous experience providing administrative support to a busy service team, ideally in a legal setting ??
  • Ability to handle public-facing roles, confidently assisting clients in person, over the phone, and via email ????
