We are seeking a dedicated University Access Officer to join our client's team, working across Highbury and Hackney. This role is ideal for someone passionate about facilitating access to higher education for students. The successful candidate will report to the Programme Manager and will be instrumental in guiding students through the university application process.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students on university choices, application processes, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with school staff and external organisations to maximise opportunities for students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UCAS processes, student finance, and changes in higher education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on university access or career guidance.
  • Strong understanding of the UK higher education system and application processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
