We are seeking an Enrichment Programme Coordinator to lead and supervise a comprehensive programme of enrichment activities at our college. This role is pivotal in enhancing the college community by promoting personal development, active participation, and student engagement in various aspects of college life.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Lead and evaluate a range of enrichment activities, ensuring they contribute positively to the college community.
- Develop and promote the Inspiring Futures / KC Xtra programme to integrate personal development into the college experience.
- Establish and maintain collaborations with college staff and external organisations to enhance the enrichment offerings.
- Coordinate and monitor student participation in activities, devising strategies to boost engagement and maximise resource utilisation.
- Manage effective student communication systems, including notice boards, plasma screens, intranet, and social media, to promote enrichment activities.
- Plan and deliver cross-college workshops, presentations, and events, including induction sessions.
- Provide direct activity delivery to students as part of the enrichment programme.
- Identify and support 'at risk' students, offering necessary pastoral support.
- Produce and review health and safety risk assessments for activities.
- Participate in and contribute to college open days and wider student services events.
- Foster student involvement in the 'Learner Voice' initiative, ensuring student feedback influences activity planning.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and activities to monitor and evaluate participation and outcomes.
- Work closely with Student Support Services to deliver a holistic approach to student engagement.
- Offer targeted 1-to-1 support to specific student groups, addressing attendance, punctuality, and other personal issues.
- Serve as part of the College’s Safeguarding Team, acting as a Safeguarding Officer when required.
- Proven experience in coordinating and leading enrichment activities within Further Education only.
- Proven experience dealing with high volume student interactions and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures in an educational context.
