As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Surgery, you'll:
- Give holistic, evidence-based care throughout the spinal surgery pathway.
- Work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Advocate for patients, offering specialist nursing advice.
- Drive service development and staff education.
- Use excellent communication skills to enhance patient care.
The ideal Clinical Nurse Specialist will have:
- A Children's Nursing Qualification (RN Child or RSCN) with valid NMC registration.
- Five years of post-registration experience in children's nursing.
- Relevant specialist qualification with at least 12 months experience.
- Desirable mentorship qualification and paediatric life support skills.
- Experience in audit, research, and safeguarding processes.
