Daytime Healthcare are partnering with a Private High End Orthopedic and Sports Clinic in Central London who look after sports stars. They are recruiting for an experienced Senior Scrub Nurse to join their surgical Centre in Central London. The company was founded in London by a group of leading Orthopaedic Surgeons and Radiologists, with a shared vision of building a worldwide center of excellence in musculoskeletal care.

Hours: 37/5 per week, 4 days per week-Monday-Friday (Days only).

Senior Scrub Nurse Job Role:

Along with the rest of the theatre team, you will share responsibility for the management and organisation of the operating department, helping to ensure smooth, timely and efficient processes and procedures within a safe environment. You will promote safeguarding and risk management in respect of patients, employees and visitors. Reporting to the Theatre Manager, you will lead a team of scrub practitioners working closely with anaesthetic and recovery colleagues.

Who are we looking for?

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration
  • Surgical First Assistant course (Essential)
  • Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in theatre practice
  • Evidence of clinical reasoning skills across a varied patient case mix.
  • Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to prioritise information and workload appropriately.
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods of time, reacting quickly in an emergency when required
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
