About the Role:
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving client retention and growth. You will manage a portfolio of 60-70 accounts, working to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover upsell opportunities. With a strategic approach to account planning, you will identify growth opportunities, manage a sales pipeline, and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of 60-70 accounts, ensuring retention and growth
- Provide excellent account management support to drive customer satisfaction and renewals
- Uncover upsell opportunities within existing client relationships
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify growth opportunities
- Accurately forecast sales and manage a pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Work proactively and consultatively to match client needs with our products, demonstrating competitive advantage, particularly in mergers and acquisitions.
About You:
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Account Manager with:
- 3+ years of experience managing B2B subscription accounts, preferably in business intelligence or financial services (Buy Side/Sell Side)
- A proven track record in account retention and growth, ideally within the TMT or finance sectors
- Experience generating and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to hit targets
- A self-driven, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
- The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction
- A passion for being a driving force within a sales team and the broader business
