- Oversee CCTV management and emergency planning.
- Commission services for survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls.
- Lead the Gangs, Violence & Exploitation Unit and Anti-Social Behaviour Team.
- Negotiate with regional and national bodies.
- Manage community safety coordination and policy consultations.
- Develop relationships with statutory partners.
- Advocate for the Council and manage contracts.
- Promote cross-departmental working and information sharing.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.

- Demonstrable experience in the Strategic leadership and management of community safety services within local authority or local government strategy environmental division.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Crime and Disorder legislation.
- Experience in partnership working, strategic planning, and budget management.
- Project management and report preparation skills.
- Ability to manage resources efficiently, especially in crises.
