Associate Structural Engineer - Central London - Design Consultancy

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate or experienced Senior Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in:

  • Structural, Bridge, or Heavy Civil Engineering
  • Permanent and Temporary Works
  • Rail industry projects (CRE – Civils and Structures)

You’ll take a lead role in managing and delivering successful projects, working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, and contributing to the growth of the business by building client and partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Manage projects to deliver excellent outcomes for clients.
  • Fulfil the CRE role (Civils and Structures) in Rail schemes.
  • Develop innovative solutions for both temporary and permanent works design.
  • Play a key role in expanding the team’s capabilities and business growth.

About You:

  • Chartered Engineer with 8–15 years of experience in civils, heavy civils, structural, or bridge design.
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
  • Demonstrated CRE (Civils and Structures) experience in Rail schemes (or working towards).
  • Skilled in mentoring and supporting team members to develop their potential.
  • Experienced in using computational software for engineering design.
  • Passionate about building strong client relationships and business development.
