Responsibilities and Requirements
For this role you will be reporting the Technical Director. Working remotely, you will oversee the commissioning / pre-commissioning of the controls for all plant and equipment connected to the client’s system.
You will communicate regularly with project management, ensuring that you provide progress reports. In addition to this, you will identify issues and snags that are disrupting the commissioning works. For this role, you will need to liaise with sub-contractors and clients making sure that correct execution of design is achieved.
As a commissioning engineer you will at times be required to work independently and as a team. It would be seen as an advantage to have the knowledge of certain non-proprietary protocols such as Modbus, mBus and BACnet.
Most work will be within the London area, however if the need arises you might be required to cover projects in the South.
