Proactive Personnel Ltd have opportunities for a number of Commissioning Engineers to join our Blue chip organisation with locations based throughout the UK.

To be considered for these roles, you must have HNC in Electrical Engineer (or equivalent) and have experience in material handling, automation, electrical engineering or a similar industry.

You must have experience in an airport environment to be considered for this role.

The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for testing and delivery and ensuring the quality systems are followed. Training the customer in the usage of the system and completing an effective handover.

You will be our clients customer point of contact and responsible for reporting to the project group. Experience on conveyor or automation distribution systems would be highly advantageous in this role.

In return, you can expect to earn 60,000 - 65,000 per annum with a package worth up to around 70 with additional day rate payments etc.

On occasion, you will also be responsible for the adjustment and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.

You will be required to travel anywhere between London and the North West - to that end, a company vehicle (van) will be provided.

Hours:

  • (48 hour working week)
  • This will include nights / weekends on a rota basis
  • Tools provided as part of role

Functional skills:

  • HNC In Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • High level of IT and Network skills.
  • Proficient MS Office user / SharePoint.
  • Problem solving and electrical fault finding.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding.
  • Capable of handling the full responsibility of the commissioning process.
