Piper Maddox is representing a global, leading renewable energy IPP who boast a diverse range of projects across the UK, Europe and Africa. As their pipeline continues to grow, so does their expert team and in house capabilities.
My client focuses on developing, owning and operating utility scale Solar and BESS plants. They are looking to bring in a Design Engineer to grow inside of an expert team. This role presents an opportunity to design utility scale solar projects across the world and allows for candidates to visit these global sites. Boasting both professional development and a chance to travel.
Key responsibilities:
* Complete energy yield assessments and Solar PV/ BESS designs.
* Review electrical designs to ensure they meet industry standards.
* Occasional visit to global sites to ensure projects are meeting quality expectations.
Key Skills:
* Knowledge of PVsyst and utility scale projects.
* Degree in a relevant Engineering, Mathematics or Physics degree
