A new opportunity has opened up with TSB as a Lead Non-Functional Quality Engineer!

This role will be working closely with feature teams, ensuring that best practices are being followed and driving high standards.

Ideally you will have a background as a non-functional tester (automation focused) and love the idea of getting involved with big initiatives in driving the scope and vision for testing across the Bank.

Financial Services (high volume processing) / Payments background is a big plus here but not essential.

This is a permanent position with a salary on offer of up to 75k doe + comprehensive benefits package. They would like you to come to their London, Bristol or Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis (twice a week), this can be flexible and negotiable.

Tech skills needed:

  • Strong understanding of application architecture
  • Microservice design
  • Understanding how applications scale
  • Tooling within performance testing - e.g. jmeter / loadrunner / neoload
  • Java / Javascript

The role would be perfect for someone who loves taking their ideas into production, is committed to best practices and knows how to create comprehensive designs that will be the premise for the future growth of the bank's testing function.

This position is for a January 2025 start date with the bank.
