Note: The ideal candidate will have a background working with Pumped Storage Hydropower (PSH)
For the successful Methods Engineer, our client is offering:
- Competitive Day Rate
- Days role, Monday to Friday
- Contract role (3 Months)
- Potential for remote working opportunities
The Role – Methods Engineer:
- Develop and implement optimized construction methodologies for pumped storage hydro projects.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective construction practices.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for project planning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams and assist in troubleshooting construction challenges.
- Evaluate new materials, equipment, and techniques to improve efficiency and sustainability.
What our client is looking for in a Methods Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Methods Engineer or similar role within civil engineering projects, ideally in the renewable energy sector - ESSENTIAL
- Familiarity with construction planning software and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve construction methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
