Note: The ideal candidate will have a background working with Pumped Storage Hydropower (PSH)

For the successful Methods Engineer, our client is offering:

  • Competitive Day Rate
  • Days role, Monday to Friday
  • Contract role (3 Months)

The Role – Methods Engineer:

  • Develop and implement optimized construction methodologies for pumped storage hydro projects.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective construction practices.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for project planning.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Provide technical support to site teams and assist in troubleshooting construction challenges.
  • Evaluate new materials, equipment, and techniques to improve efficiency and sustainability.

What our client is looking for in a Methods Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Methods Engineer or similar role within civil engineering projects, ideally in the renewable energy sector - ESSENTIAL
  • Familiarity with construction planning software and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve construction methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
