We are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Technical Specialist to join a global organisation. The role focuses on providing technical and functional support for Oracle EBS modules (AR, AP, GL, PO) across multiple regions, handling production issues, driving process improvements, and managing key finance-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and functional support for Oracle EBS modules (AR, AP, GL, PO) across global users in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • Lead the resolution of P1 issues, day-to-day BAU support, and system enhancements.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to increase system efficiency, reduce manual errors, and ensure compliance with audit and control requirements.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance-related projects.
  • Manage month-end and year-end activities, including revenue processing, invoice generation, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with users to understand business needs and objectives, delivering tailored technical solutions.
  • Provide production support, analyse support tickets, and troubleshoot custom processes, APIs, and reports.
  • Play a key role in Oracle upgrades (e.g., 12.1 to 12.2), testing and modifying over 200 custom objects, and providing post-go-live support during critical periods.
  • Drive data migration efforts and system integration projects, including mergers and acquisitions, handling migration of open invoices, credit memos, and employee data.
  • Configure Oracle Receivables setups (transaction types, sources, receipt methods, accounting rules, system options) and manage AP invoice and supplier migrations using interfaces and templates (More4apps).
  • Support reporting through Apex, as well as payroll and exchange rate interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with DBAs and Unix teams to ensure code migration, system performance monitoring, and issue resolution in production.
  • Maintain code versions and manage repositories using GITLAB.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical and functional expertise in Oracle EBS modules (AR, AP, GL, PO).
  • Experience in handling global user support and managing production issues (P1).
  • Proven track record in delivering system upgrades, data migrations, and integration projects.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Experience with More4apps templates, data loaders, and GITLAB repositories.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with users, finance teams, and technical teams.
