Regional T.I.V. Engineer (Level 2 Electrical) | London | Full Time | £36,000 - £42,000 per year DOE
Our client provides a dedicated, superior-quality global POS Installation (Point of Sale) and Retail maintenance service.
They have built a reputation for efficiency and dependability across their range of in-store services and due to client demand, expanded their work into the full mix of retail solutions and field marketing services across the globe.
They are looking to recruit a dynamic Regional Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, proactive maintenance tasks and regular inspections/audits across an allocated number of stores within your dedicated region.
Please note- Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo extensive DBS checks to match with their clients’ requirements.
Salary Breakdown:
Band 1: £36,000 - £40,000 per year
Band 2 (inclusive of London Weighting): £36,000 - £42,000 per year
Are you the right person for the job?
- Electricians 18th Edition accreditation
- CSCS accredited
- Minimum of 2 years Electrical & Plumbing experience (essential)
- Experienced in completing trade-specific tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, minor brickwork, and minor internal repairs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant technical knowledge

- Clean valid UK Driving License
What will your role look like?
- You will be allocated a regional group of stores based on your home location. Extensive travel and occasional overnight stays are required
- Monthly visits to your dedicated stores to proactively repair, maintain, and clean equipment, ensuring compliance with H&S requirements. This includes the shop floor, warehouse, and external areas
- Liaise with store managers to ensure that all required work is actioned accordingly and reported via the bespoke reporting tool. Major works that cannot be fixed on the proactive call are to be reported to the Account Delivery Team via the bespoke online reporting tool.
- Divert reactive emergency calls from the stores as part of an agreed SLA with the client
- Manage your van stock inventory and report all stock used via the bespoke reporting tool
- Visiting retail properties to carry out repairs & maintenance as per the day’s schedule
- Carry out basic plumbing (fixing leaks and changing taps/waste)
- Carry out basic electrics (changing bulbs/fittings, replacing switches or sockets)
- Carry out basic carpentry (changing locks, handles)
- Carry out basic painting and decorations
- Carry out basic handyman services
- Update jobs via the portal, ensuring audits are thorough and good quality pictures are taken
- For jobs requiring quotes, provide a report with materials needed, time required, and a description of the issue
