Scottish Power Renewables are looking for a Senior Installation Engineer to join their EA2 project on a long term contract basis.

Role: Senior Installation Engineer (IAC)
Business: Scottish Power Renewables - East Anglia 2
Duration: 31/12/2025 with annual renewal in line with the project
Location: Tudor Street London or St Vincent Street Glasgow/hybrid style working
Working Pattern: Mon – Fri (Required to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week)
Rate: inside IR35, Umbrella and PAYE options available

Main Purpose of Job
The Installation Engineer is to support the IAC Package on East Anglia 2 project and provide support cross project when needed.

Key Tasks

  • Development and implementation of T&I strategies, installation programmes and cost estimates for projects.
  • Development of the Package Engineering Plans and completion of engineering tasks.
  • Technical support of the procurement process for T&I contracts and consultancy services.
  • Management of T&I Contractor's engineering deliverables and offshore works.


In addition to the core responsibilities and accountabilities the Installation Engineer may be delegated additional responsibilities for health and safety management, budgeting, planning, procurement, development of departmental procedures and reporting

Key Criteria

Essential

  • Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in offshore wind or subsea discipline related to cables
  • Demonstrable experiences in:
  • Subsea cables Installation
  • Engineering design.
  • Production of specification and tender documents


Desirable

  • Experience in Inter Array Cables Installation
