My client is looking for an experienced Civil Structural Engineer specializing in scaffold design to join their rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings and performing the necessary calculations to ensure the strength, stability, and safety of scaffolding structures. This role demands a detail-oriented professional capable of managing project requirements and delivering precise scaffold designs in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and draft detailed scaffold structures using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Perform structural calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of scaffold designs.
- Collaborate with project teams to determine design requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all scaffold designs comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Review and refine existing designs to improve efficiency and address potential issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and safety regulations.
- Visit sites to collect data and confirm client specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with a focus on scaffold design.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software for modelling.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and structural analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
