Leading Civil Construction Company
- Project Value:Commercial only, ranging from 1 million to 20 million
- Salary & Benefits:Up to 60k - negotiable
- Hours:Typically, 10 hours per day, with 2 x 30-minute breaks
- Start Date:July 2024
The role:
On behalf of one of our established clients, a leading civil construction company in London, an experienced Structural Engineer with an extensive background in cut & carve projects to join their team.
You will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of cut and carve projects, playing a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.
The client currently has around 20-25 live sites. This role will be covering Central London, delivering up to 3 sites at any one time, travelling to each site as required.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake structural design and analysis of cut and carve projects
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Conduct site visits and inspections
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative structural solutions
- Manage and mentor junior engineers (if applicable)
Key Skills & Experience
- Relevant degree
- CSCS card
- Proven experience with cut and carve projects and/or structural alteration works
- Excellent understanding of structural mechanics and design principles
- Experience of structural analysis software
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
