Role Overview:

I am actively seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with over 5 years of industry experience to join a successful Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in London. This role is perfect for a professional eager to expand their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work on an array of exciting projects, from the restoration of Grade I* listed buildings to the development of modern new constructions, all from a spacious, open-plan studio in London

Key Responsibilities for this Structural Engineer role include:

• Actively contribute to a variety of projects, including historic refurbishments and contemporary new builds.
• Develop high-quality design solutions and clearly communicate these concepts to clients, architects, and contractors.

• Engage confidently with colleagues, clients, and architects to foster effective collaboration.
• Manage workloads efficiently and meet project deadlines.
• Assume greater responsibilities within a smaller team setting.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities.
• Serve as a project advocate, striving to exceed expectations and effectively communicate technical outputs to clients and design teams.

Qualifications and Skills for this Senior Structural Engineer:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong grasp of engineering theory, basic conceptual design, and 3D modelling.
• Practical knowledge of design codes, especially Eurocode.
• Practical understanding of structural detailing.
• Strong commitment to learning and growing within the field of structural engineering.
• Ability to take on responsibility and work both independently and as part of a team.
