- Lives in Essex or East London and drives (ideally, as our projects are mainly in Essex and East London)
- Possesses at least 5yrs professional experience
- My company works entirely on residential projects, extensions, loft conversions, small new build housing (ie. 1 or 2 plots), flat conversions. The candidate must be experiencedin these types of projects,in terms of both design,regulations, and also site experience
- We are also a surveying practice, but I assumeit will be difficult to find a candidate that also has surveying skills. Our main surveying work is party wall surveying, tendering, project management and contract administration
- Experience working on RIBA stages 0-7
- Highly professional, personable and well organised
- Sound knowledge of the UK Building Regulations, planning policies, and Planning application processes
- Enjoys and keen to take on responsibility - we are a small company so they have a great opportunity to grow with the company, and also have a broad role with opportunity to experience aspects of projects and the business in general (ie. they will have a broad variety of work and won't simply be churning out the same thing every day)
- Role will be hybrid working, a typical week would most likely be 1 day out on site, 1-2 days working from home, 2-3 days in the office.
