people2people are currently recruiting for a highly reputable Design and Build / Architectural firm based in London who are expanding the team and seeking an experienced Part 2 to join the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the team across a wide range of projects within the Residential sector. Also offering the journey to Part 3, this company are looking for a long term addition to the team.This role is working 5 days per week in the London office so please only apply if this is something you are able to commit to.Please note, for this role It is essential you have had experience of working on Private Residential projects.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior architects to develop design concepts and translate them into detailed architectural plans and drawings.
  • Work on planning applications
  • Complete Design and Access statements and heritage reports
  • Conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations to ensure project compliance and innovation
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and assist in the presentation of design proposals.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress.
  • Integrate sustainable design principles into projects, striving for environmentally responsible and energy-efficient solutions.
Your Experience:
  • Qualified Part 2
  • Previous experience working in an architectural firm, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (advantageous but not essential) SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Proven experience of completing planning applications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • It is essential you have had experience of working on Private Residential projects
