Our client is seeking an experienced and talented Design Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with a strong background in design management, particularly within high-end stonework or the architectural industry, to lead a team and manage prestigious projects from conception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Oversee and lead the design process for all stonework projects, ensuring designs meet client requirements, are on budget, and adhere to the highest quality standards.
- Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors, ensuring a clear understanding of design briefs and offering expert guidance on material choices, design options, and timelines.
- Project Coordination: Manage multiple complex projects at once, ensuring designs are delivered on time and to the highest possible standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of designers and technical staff, helping to drive their professional development and performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure all designs and projects meet the company’s high-quality control standards, focusing on precision, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and advice throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial design through to final installation.
- Innovation: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the stonework sector.

Key Skills and Experience:
- Design Management Experience: A proven background as a Design Manager or in a similar role within high-end stonework, architecture, or construction.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of stone materials, fabrication processes, and architectural design principles.
- Project Management: Strong experience managing high-end, complex projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to schedule.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Client-Focused: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, architects, and contractors.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail, with a focus on achieving the highest level of craftsmanship and quality.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) or other relevant design tools.
