We are looking for a Design Manager to join our client who are a firmly established ground and earthworks contractor based in North London.

Drive the design strategy from project inception to completion, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional quality. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team of consultants and subcontractors, ensuring all design outputs align with project goals, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Spearheading the design process, from pre-construction planning through to final project delivery.
  • Orchestrating collaboration between internal teams, external architects, and specialist subcontractors.
  • Guaranteeing design deliverables meet project timelines, specifications, and technical standards.
  • Overseeing design approvals and facilitating effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating potential design risks.
  • Contributing to value engineering and buildability reviews in partnership with delivery teams.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to company standards, regulations, and security protocols.

What You Bring:
