About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design and build process for both residential and commercial building projects in London. This is a six-month contract role, with a focus on managing the full lifecycle of design and construction, from planning through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring high standards of quality, and liaising with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee the design and build processes for residential and commercial developments.
- Ensure all design documentation is accurate, compliant with regulations, and aligned with client requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design challenges.
- Monitor design progress and ensure timely delivery of design information to construction teams.
- Coordinate with construction teams during the build phase to ensure design integrity.
- Conduct regular design reviews, addressing any potential issues before they impact project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, planning regulations, and health and safety standards.

Requirements:
- Chartered status with a recognized professional body (e.g., RIBA, CIAT, or ICE).
- Proven experience managing design and build projects, particularly in **residential and commercial buildings**.
