Our client is currently seeking three Design Managers with specialisations in either Comms, M&E, or Fire to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the design process for rail communication systems including SISS, Telecoms, M&E, and Fire Engineering
- Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Overseeing project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful on-time completion
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to design teams
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Reviewing and approving all design documentation
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with all project participants
Job Requirements:
- Experience in designing rail communication systems including SISS, Telecoms, M&E, and Fire Engineering
- Strong understanding of rail regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in project management and the design approval process
- Excellent coordination and leadership skills
- Ability to perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytic abilities
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Must be able to be at office in South London 2 days a week and be on site 1 day a week.
